VILLA FOR SALE IN RURAL ITALY

Are you interested in purchasing a villa in Italy for holidays/retirement but are put off by the high prices in Tuscany and the main tourist areas?
Then why not consider this attractive and more reasonably priced villa situated in an unspoiled rural area close to Venice?

The villa is fronted by a wide working canal which connects Mantova to the sea at the mouth of the River Po and is backed by a private park on the outskirts of a village just 15 minutes east of Rovigo and west of Adria. It has a large detached 2 car garage, patio for dining out shaded by mature wisteria in the summer, greenhouse and an attractive porch in about 1000 square metres of well fenced garden with automatic irrigation and Local Community services with rubbish collection five days a week, mains gas running alongside the garden (the owners presently use a 1200 litre propane gas storage tank located behind the garage) mains electricity and telephone. Downstairs there is an entrance hall; to the left a large lounge/dining room with fireplace; to the right a large live-in kitchen, leading to a study or extra bedroom, bathroom with shower, laundry/boiler room, an under-stairs larder and the staircase. Upstairs there is a large library/study and, leading off this, 2 large bedrooms, a beautiful bathroom with bath and shower, and a balcony. Everything is spacious and pleasant with a high standard of finish.

The present owners, an Italian and his Welsh wife, are retiring from their business in Rovigo and moving to Sardinia.
